Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd specialists will provide the most accurate auction estimate based only upon the information and images provided. Auction estimates are the price range within which Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd experts believe the item will sell. These are provisional only and subject to change based on first-hand inspection. Auction estimates are not equal to an object's Fair Market Value or Open Market Value and are provided exclusively for the use of the client for the specific purpose of consigning property to Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd or a subsidiary of Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd and are not to be used by any other person for any other purpose.

If your item meets our quality standards and minimum consignment value, Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd will provide auction estimates and will recommend the most effective way to sell your property -- whether in one of our live auction or a private sale, if appropriate, with one of our trusted partners.

In submitting your auction estimate request, you represent that you are the owner of the property that you are inquiring about, that you own the property free and clear of any claims, liens, encumbrances or interests of others and that the property can be offered freely in the international art market. If you are interested in consigning your property to Melbourne International Auctions Pty Ltd, please be aware that you are responsible for complying with any local export or import laws.

How to bid?
Register in Person:
You can register in person to bid at the sale room 24 hours before the auction begins. Proof of address and of identity will need to be provided by first time bidder.
Absentee Bid/Telephone Bid:
Fill in the Absentee Bid form with a valid telephone number 24 hours before the auction begins. Please check the "telephone bid" box on the form.
Absentee Bid/Written Bid:
Fill in the Absentee Bid form with indication of your maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. The Absentee Bid form is printed at the back of the catalogue.
 
How to pay?
Once bidding is successful, bidder will become the buyer. We will immediately print out a "buyer's invoice" listing the final amount due, including the hammer price, the commission of the hammer price, as well as other fees and costs to be responsible by the buyer, for further details, please refer to the "CONIDITIONS OF BUSINESS FOR BUYERS" listed in our catalogue. Successful bidders are also welcome to pay immediately at the auction, or to pay within 7 days after the auction with Union Pay, cheque, bank draft or telegraphic transfer.
